Our company, the VABEKO Ltd. Was established in 1990. Taking into consideration the demand of the marketplace, the company became one of the leaders in the field of the piping construction companies of the region. Our main activity is the construction of the hydrocarbon transportation systems, but we are doing engineering, maintenance and diagnostics as well. The 20 years experience and the proper technological background our efficient and safe operation.
We started with maintance projects on a small scale but the company grew quickly and soon acquired the abilities to handle larger projects. VABEKO has taken an active part in the reconstruction of valves, pipelines and hot tappings on almost 90% of the national gas transporting network and pipelines for petrochemical products, as well as construction and installation of new stations and branch points. We als provide services including construction and maintanance for MOL Nyrt’s Logistics Division, the operator of the high pressure and crude pipeline system of the Százhalombatta
Refinery and the contacting facilities all over the country.
To work on thy hydrocarbon systems we have to establish our own quality control system. We have ISO 9001, and we have all qualification to comply with this standard, and later we have been qualified to the ISO 18001 Health and Safety control system, and ISO 14001 Environment control system as well. To perform welding works we received the A, B and C modules of the MSZ-ISO384-2:2006, organized by TÜV Bayern Ltd.
The qualification work of the welders is continuous, we develop the qualifications to cover more material groups, and size ranges. We have the WPAR’s for the materials and sizes we normally work with.
With our own investments we do not concentrate on keeping the level only, but we always develop our technology, and efficiency too. Our construction equipment are not only new, but up to date as well. We continuously monitor the market, and we employ the new technologies, if they are feasible, and useful for our activity.
After several years of working in the field of engineering and construction, we established good contacts with some qualified subcontractors too. Due to our reliability and behavior the are happy to work for us, and they try to perform the same level of quality and safety as we do.
Our most important clients are FGSZ Zrt, MOL Logistics Division, Babcock-Hitachi, Csepel Power Station Zrt, DUNAPACK Zrt, Dunaujváros Power Station Zrt, E-ON Hungaria, General Electric Ltd, KVV Zrt, OTF Zrt, MVM ERBE Zrt, PETROLSZOLG Ltd.
Our main fields have been the pipeline rehabilitation works, where we replaced complete sections (more than 200 km), the construction and rehabilitation of gas delivery stations (more than 100), field services for HDD works (6”-32”). We did several Danube crossings (average 750 m length) and other smaller crossings too on different flows, roads, railroads.
